Q. Can I specify a different paper?
A. We can print on a variety of papers. This is a bespoke service so email info@uk4print.com for a quotation.
Q. Can you tell me the standard flyer dimensions?
A. A4 is 210mm x 297mm
A5 148mm x 210mm
A6 105mm x 148mm
DL 99mm x 210mm
Q. Are leaflets or flyers subject to VAT?
A. VAT is chargeable if the flyer is used as admission, discount on admission or product/service. An example of this is "Free (or discounted) admission with this flyer". VAT is chargeable if the flyer is designed to be written on - for example a form is incorporated into the design. VAT is chargeable if the flyer is to be used as a postcard. Q. What are 'Print ready files' ?
A. Please see our artwork page for more details.
Q. What are bleed and trim marks?
A. Bleed is added to the edges of the page to ensure that when the page is trimmed there are no white areas. Trim marks tell the printer where to cut the paper to its finished size.
Q. What is CMYK or RGB?
A. Digital and litho printing use Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black which are used in combination to produce a full colour print. RGB is the way colour appears on your computer screen. The monitor displays far more colours than can be printed.
Q. What payment methods do you accept?
A. We only accept credit cards via secure trading as a safe method of payment.
Q. Can you send a proof for print approval?
A. Yes, but it is as an extra charge. Please specify that you need a proof when ordering.
Please note: This is not a colour consistent proof. The printout will not have any further processing provided (cutting, folding, binding etc.)
Q. How much does delivery cost?
A. Delivery is included in the print cost but for certain areas of the UK there is an extra charge. Visit our deliveries page for a more detailed summary.
Q. Where does UK4print deliver to?
A. UK4PRINT delivers to the United Kingdom, except Jersey, Guernsey, Sark, Alderney, Herm and Gibraltar.
Q. How will my order be delivered and how long will it take to arrive?
A. Once production of your order is complete your products will immediately be despatched by Citylink or a similarly efficient courier. Delivery time is 3 working days.
Q. Do you offer an anonymous delivery service?
A. Yes all of our parcels are sent out without our details on them.
Q. How do I check the status of my order?
A. Please email info@UK4print.com and we will confirm the status of your order.
Cancellations
Please note that a 10% charge of the total value of the original order will be made on all cancelled orders plus a £20 charge to cover the administration fee.
Any costs incurred for work already carried out up to the date of written cancellation will also be charged for, and deducted before any refunds are made.
